Mozambique sees decline in number of displaced people, says migration body

Although more people are returning to their home districts in Cabo Delgado, humanitarian agencies warn that uprooted Mozambicans still face severe problems including food shortages

The number of Mozambicans forced to live away from their homes due to war or natural disasters has declined by over 100,000 since last July, according to data released last week by the United Nations’ International Organization for Migration (IOM).
