Mozambique turns to Exxon for gas to fuel 400MW Palma power plant

Mozambique's state power utility, EDM, is in direct negotiations with the US oil company ExxonMobil to secure the supply of natural gas for a 400MW thermal power station it wants to build in Cabo Delgado’s Palma district, home to two giant LNG projects run by Exxon and TotalEnergies.
