Between 10 and 15 April, fighters carried out raids in Macomia, Meluco, and Nangade districts, targeting villages, ambushing civilians, and disrupting fishing and agricultural activity. The surge suggests a renewed offensive after a lull that coincided with the holy Muslim month of Ramadan, and the rainy season.
