Eni-led consortium quits Mozambique offshore exploration block

The consortium won the block in 2015, signed the exploration concession in 2018, drilled a well in 2023, and quit in 2024

A consortium led by Italian oil and gas major Eni, which won the right to explore an offshore area in Mozambique’s Angoche Basin in 2015, has handed the block back to the Mozambican government, Zitamar News has learned.
