Ghostbusters needed in October elections

Ruling party Frelimo has come to rely on ghost voters to win elections

Good afternoon. The figures for registered voters released by the National Elections Commission (CNE) yesterday confirm the large-scale electoral fraud being planned by ruling party Frelimo (see below). The numbers approved by the CNE are slightly different to the numbers they received last month, but the effect on the election is much the same: as previously reported, Gaza province will elect six members of parliament more than it should be electing for the size of its population, and Inhambane will elect one extra member. Those excess members are guaranteed to be Frelimo members, because they will be elected with votes cast by so-called ghost voters created by the electoral authorities.

💥 Islamic State-backed insurgents attacked the village of Nacoba in the Quissanga district of Cabo Delgado province yesterday. The health centre was looted and at least one school was set on fire, local sources claimed. There have been no reports of casualties so far.
